What Is Supplemental Instruction?

Supplemental Instruction is a FREE program designed to support students in their academic journey through peer-assisted study sessions. In these sessions, students can expect to discuss and go over material presented during class lectures in various different formats. SI sessions are informal, provide peer support, and they also reinforce study skills and classroom instruction. It is led by an SI Leader that has already made an A (or B with strong professor recommendation) in the class. This leader retakes the class, takes notes, and knows the professors' expectations. They support students in the course by providing helpful study tips and tricks, assisting with exam preparation, and breaking down material. Did I mention it was FREE?
